KEEN 5X is based on Cognitive-Kinesthetics, the theory and practice of embodied learning. It provides very simple strategies, informed by neuroscience, that help  to generate engagement, understanding, and a sense of community for learners.

This easy-to-use approach permits the curriculum to be addressed to multiple intelligences, and in particular  to those that are hardest to address in the  traditional classroom setting.

Teaching strategies that use these elements in combination create a learning experiences that foster a very intense level   of engagement, creating stronger neural pathways in the participants. Because they use  many different modalities and sensory inputs to link content and skills to cognitive understanding, students learn better.
